Experimental infrastructure

 INCAS Subsonic Wind Tunnel
    This is a closed loop atmospheric type facility, with low turbulence characteristics and high speeds up to 110 m/s.
    Equipped with state of the art data acquisition systems (including high sensitive 6 components balance) and flow
    investigation capabilities (PIV, laser, IR). This facility is unique in Romania and part of ESFRI in UE.
   
Test rigs with dedicated hardware for active vibration control, structures health monitoring, morphing
    These are based on the Mecatronics Systems INCAS, featuring state of the art hardware for research and industrial applications.
